The Way of the Craftsman

I offer design and build services for a wide range of wood furnishings, from meticulously crafted one-of-a-kind furniture to custom cabinetry and finish work for any room in the home or office.

My body of work features curved pieces, hammered copper, solid wood, time-tested joinery techniques, and veneering with beautiful domestic and exotic woods. I work in many styles including rustic-elegant, craftsman/Greene and Greene, Tansu, and contemporary.

I have worked with wood for more than 30 years as a furniture and cabinet maker, finish carpenter, and contractor. My work is found in some of the finest homes in the Lake Tahoe, Truckee, Chico, and California's North Valley regions. To complement my real-world experience, I trained at the internationally recognized College of the Redwoods Fine Woodworking Program under the direction of James Krenov who noted my "quiet, sure sense of direction and skill."
